Hi having problem with air suspension on my 2003 disco keeps going down intermittently on passenger side rear have checked for leaks and there are non doesn't go down all time stays up for days or weeks then goes through a stage of dropping every time i turn off then is ok for days then does it again sensor looks ok but is so annoying any ideas ? thankyou in advance for any help thoughts. :confused:
 
Hi yes i soaked the bags with soapy water and saw nothing and have read that few times but reading through more threads has give me more to look at thanks for help biggeeeee
 
Did you have the Suspension raised using the switch on the dash, if not try that.
If the bags are original, I would be looking to change them.
While you're at have a look at the sensors as the rubbers perish on them and can also cause problems.

But before working on the suspension make sure the battery is disconnected
 
thanks also forgot to mention if am near car i hear a click from the compressor sometimes an hour or so after ignition turned off and can hear air coming from that end
 
Hi just an update have had suspension on high setting and it stays up all the time but as i go over 18mph it goes to normal drive height which was fine but today it keeps going down when am stopped in traffic have got new sensor so going to swap with the passenger side that keeps going down have checked airbags again and no leaks didnt use car for 3 days and stayed up so ruling leaky airbags out regards John
 
mine used to stay up for a week then go down, then used to do it maybe twice in a day, then nothing for 2 weeks, replaced the bags as you are recommend to change in pairs as they were the original ones, been ok since, muck get around the sensors so they say, check them!
 
cheers discodrivercumbria yeh sounds like my troubles looks like i will have to change them as well but will try new switch first as have got already :)
 
Hi all well changed switch and bags at xmas all has been fine since :) wonder what will be next in the never ending fix me story cheers for your help everybody.
