Before anyone says anything I did search but didnt find anything to be that helpful...

Woke up this morning to find my dads 2007 L322 has dropped very low, almost on the floor. Went to check obviously the air suspension, tried to raise it and I can hear the compressor running but no movement. Opened the door and could hear air ****ing out from behind the drivers side wheel.

Have yet to remove the wheel and check though what is the likely culprit? Blow bag? Loose hose? or the compressor on the way out?

If it is a blow bag on the suspension how difficult is it to replace? I assume theres a lot more swearing involved than changing coils...

I did read that what ever happens you need diagnostics to clear the fault codes.

Any help would be fantastic.

Blown air suspension strut by the sounds of it

Pretty simple to fix
You change the whole strut

About £300 I think on parts

And yes you will most likely need diagnostics to clear the faults after you've finished

To be fair it doesnt trouble me too much. It is my dads motor after all, just trying to get it done as cheap as possible for him!
