i think i now have an airlock in petrol system anybody tell me how to clear this ????? also my son pressed the fuel cut off switch under the bonnet ihave repressed it to reset it could this be why there is no fuel coming through as the fuel pump is sounding.

petrol system is not like diesel, so air locks wont cause problems, the pump will pump fuel to the injectors and away you go.

if you can hear the pump but fuel isn't getting to the fuel rail then you either have a big leak or the pump is nackered.

the fuel cut off switch is designed to cut the pump off so if the pump is running then the switch hasn't been tripped
