Hello

I have installed a snorkel (Paddock's) on my Defender 90 300tdi. I have sealed with silicone the snorkel to the outer wing panel.
I am, however, having trouble to seal the ducts from inside the the wing to the air filter.

I'm a bit jealous of the LHD owners, my heater unit is right in the way! Is there any alternative way to reach the air intake? Pictures would be awesome.

Thanks in advance

maybe if you take off the wheel arch it would help?

Try introducing yourself in the correct place your more likely to get an answer

I just lean over the wing to get to it and lie underneath to get the 2nd connection.

Thanks for all the help

Yes it would, but I'd like to avoid that for now if possible

That is the problem with a RHD 300tdi, the heater unit and it's tubing is right between the right wing and the air intake.

I went under the car and sealed the first water drain cover with silicone, so that area is covered

By the way, here is a picture of a RHD 300tdi engine bay, for reference:

My bad, it is left hand drive. I always mess up the right or left thing, mostly because on a left hand drive vehicle you drive on the right side of the road.

Thanks for the heads up, I hope this clarifies things

find instructions for a 200tdi snorkel, think buster has one (like wot he said) 200tdi has the same issue you have with a 300tdi in a LEFT hand drive motor

So yesterday I went ahead and removed the flexiarch and the window cleaner water tank.
This provided me some very limited but handy space to work on the ducts.

Thanks very much for all the help
