:attention:Hi all i really really hope some one can help, ive previously posted about air in my fuel lines and now im at a loss as to what it can be. Today ive replaced the fuel line from the tank sender unit to lift pump and fitted an inline clear plastic filter before the lift pump so i can check for air in system, took her for a little drive and still same problem  loss of power and no acceleration but engine ticks over, so this evening after being towed home i removed the sender unit from the tank and put a piece of 10mm micro bore into tank and connected it to new fuel line. still have same problem of air can be seen at inline filter:frusty::frusty::frusty: i am now totally out of knowledge as to what could be wrong:Cry::Cry: any ideas guys/gals:confused::confused:

inline filter wont help ,have you bypassed sedimenter ,do pipes running in to sender unit look rusty , passenger side one is feed for lift pump ,tried putting a pipe from a can of fuel direct to lift pump

The lift pump fitted is only 2 weeks young, fitted new filter and ended up fitting new filter housing as I suspected the bleed screw was leaking. I've got a check valve in garage will fit tomorrow.

Jamesmartin inline filter was just to check for air, yes I have bypassed sedimenter and run a new line (8mm rubber hose) from sender unit to lift pump, suspected bends on sender unit that's why I removed sender unit and just dropped a length of 10mm micro bore into tank and connected to fuel line I even fitted a small piece of clear hose from micro bore to fuel line to check for air.

take filter out and use clear plastic pipe as visual aid

The filter looks like a fish tank when engine is running with bubbles blowing from the feed side but there no bubbles at tank were I've fitted clear tube to test for air,

remove filter and fit clear at pump it will prove if its pump or not if your pipes good it cant be sucking air in if one ends in fuel in tank

I brought 2 filters just incase one was leaking but they are both the same, does the lift pump not act as a check/ non return valve?

I meant the ally casting that holds the filter.

Pump will do that but not if it's worn out/punctured etc

Lift pump is new and fuel filter and housing is new. Inline temp pry filter is before lift pump so this eliminates fuel filter/ housing leaking air
