its at the back orft engine ,youll need sum long reach allan keys . . . .its fiddly so take yer time. . . .un dunt drop the boltshi all.. great site,, i'm having a blonde day and being a new freelander owner i cand find where my air filter is located its a 2001 td4...PLEASE help

Roverron has some info. on the following link about basic servicing, it's quite usefull. Also get a Haynes manual, they're not brilliant but give you some idea though won't tell you when special or unusual tools are required. Finally as you've found, Ming is very helpful & knowledgeable - worth asking him for advice before any future jobs.
