Morning all

Anyone know what I can do about my A/C its blowing out warm air from the start. I did think it would go cold after a minute ...to no avail.

Not sure if it might be something I have done in the past month.

I put on a new water pump new belt as it snapped so coolant has been drained several times . I think it may have just have water in the collant system at the moment which I will flush and replace as its not good to have water due to rusting.

Are there any checks I can do ?

Any ideas peeps

Coolant water is nothing to do with the A/C. Is the A/C compressor drive belt fitted? Can you hear the compressor clutch click in when you switch the A/C on ? Book it in to someone like Quiksh*t, they will vacume/pressure test the system for free. Usually condenser starts leaking and you lose the gas so there is no point having it regassed without testing first.:D

As above. If the compressor belt is in place, most likely no gas in the system due to a leaking condensor. Easy job to change.

I laughed Quiksh*t. . pressure test here I come... I will check out a condenser price.

AS you say easy to replace so I don't need Rad shroud or viscous nut undone.

Thanks both for the info. Can I get away with after market instead of LR prices

Cheers Rich

Different vehicle, but I used after market parts on my Freelander for ac belt and tensioner. Then had it re gassed at quicksh*t. Works lovely now and got to admit its the best service that quicksh*t offer.

Nissen have now started coating their aircon condensors to make them last longer.

i have a nissens one and was concerned about the coating and lots of painted over welding spatter but actually got an answer back from nissen tech who put my mind at rest, there is a post on here about a really easy way to change the condenser which is how i did it by removing the slam panel.
kwikslit charged mine twice and leaked out twice even after they leak test. an aircon specialist diagnosed my condesner so i bought a nissens for about £140 off the bay and kwikship filled it for about £50. if it leaks they give you your money back
