That's tough luck Rachel.
OK, so ended up not being a leak from the dryer but from the brand new condenser that was fitted last year!! Loads of tiny holes appeared in the top! Company are replacing it for free and garage are fitting it for nothing, just the regas charge. Odd fault!
What's the story with your R/R being up for sale in Ipswich, see post "cloned" 21 May 2154

Be aware that the fuse box could be on it's way out too.Time for an update been to busy with work and a bike tour of the Austrian/italy alps to do this sooner.
So I decided to go with my own instinct I checked the air con gas, none at all so I called the guy I use he came round and regassed the car and put some dye and oil in to check for leaks and help lube the compressor it was a bit noisy. Job done but it seemed to me not much air coming out the vents the blend motors are fine it goes hot n cold no problem, electrical I think as iv already replaced the pollen filters.
I looked in the fuse box under the bonnet found and tested the fan motor relays 1 OK 1 dead so replaced both pluse the fuel pump relay it was looking a bit charred.
Job done my RR blows air from the vents better than ever and the book symbol has gone
