If you are not sure what you are looking for have a search in U tube for AC compressor clutch, don't have to be your car as they are all same principal.

It will give you an idea what to look for.

Yes thanks again. So the compressor is not working what could be the possible causes. Fuses all good, tried bypassing the pressure sensor switch, cannot find a relay. Is there an ac relay on the l320
 
Yes. But if you really aren't sure be very careful. Diagnostics is really the way to go here to check the sensors there will be more than just the pressure 1.

Find the lead that powers the clutch and give it some voltage to check the clutch pulls in, then the system should work, this is for testing purpose only as you have bypassed the controls so dont run for long.

Cant help with fuse or relays but they should be labeled on the fusebox lids.
You didnt mention what pressure you were seeing. is it in the correct range?

Best thing would be to get a copy of "RAVE All models". Look for links in the Technical Archive at top of this forum. As you are new, attached are diagrams & description of the system.

What was the static gas pressure ? Compressor seems to be driven directly by the HEVAC, but will never engage if the ECU inputs are wrong.

I see. The pressures are 75psi low 30psi high now

Are you sure about those readings ? High side should be higher pressure !!

You probably need more gas in the system, but if it's really only 30psi on high side the compressor will not engage.

Diagnostics is the way forward.

I’ve the gas pressure is low or not enough in it won’t engage the same with the pressure switches any faults it won’t engage do the clutch test with a direct feed
 
Hi just read through the posts and can confirm that if any element of the system is not correct the compressor pulls clutch will not engage. Having had the same issue with two cars recently, one was the clutch itself that had gone bad and therefore the system would not work. The other was a very slow leak that created too low pressure in the system and shut it down after just two days.
Go with the diagnostic check first before you replace anything, I wasted money on a fan controller and relays, not to mention re-gas charges.
If you’ve fixed it please let us know, if not keep us posted on your progress, perhaps someone can jump in with specific advice.
