Hi all,
I have searched some threads on this, and the result doesn't seem to help me, so i am hoping someone could know as to where i look now.
Whilst driving along the dual carraigeway/motorway and hit a incline whilst at the speed of 75 - 80mph, the engine just seems to give, my revs and engine speed drops to about 40mph, and ends up at a crawling speed. It has happened whilst on a level road once, but that was pushing the vehicle underload quite a bit.
With this the engine management light (with exclamation mark) comes on. Sometimes if the road levels out or i go down a decline it will dissapear and full power is gained after a few minutes, or its a pull over in layby and switch off and back on.
I have read threads and been told possible fuel pump, had it changed and its still the same. You can hear both pumps initiliasing when ignition is turned on.
Its a Td4 04 plate, at 80,500 miles.
Any help, greatly appreciated.
If anyone could help
