As the title suggests, I have a dse and have been offered a. Complete cat back stainless sports system at a stupid price.

I've not got much experience of diesels and after market exhausts.

So, can anyone tell me:
Will it make any difference
Will it sound stupid
Do they tend to fit ok, I belidve its a janspeed
 
got a janspeed on my 4.6, the V8 sounds great and no knocks from any part of it.

not sure how it would sound on a doozal though.

feather the throttle and its nice and quiet, just a low growl, but open her up and WOW! nice sound, not too loud but turns heads :D:D:D

Based on your previous posts, where you always say there is something wrong as an excuse to Underpigeon your car. Go for it nothing anybody on here says will make a difference. :D:D:D

Depends what you call a stupid price, but if your existing exhaust is OK why waste your cash? Having said that, I will fit a stainless to mine when the time comes.

Like most other members I've always found wammers much more helpful than God. Went to church one Sunday with an eas problem.....they were rubbish, didn't have a clue:caked:

Have a healthy respect for the knowledge and experience, without which i wouldnt have been able to keep the old rangie on the road i expect..

Dislike the attitude...

Basically you come on and ask for advice. Like with the boost gauge, now the exhaust. No matter what anyone says, you go ahead with what you fully intended to do in the first place. So why ask advice? If you want to mod your car into oblivion do it, then post some pictures. You like to play, nothing wrong with that but don't expect everyone to share your enthusiasm. Specially when the mods turn out like the ones you showed us recently. Some may see that as butchery. But if you are happy that is all that matters. :):)

You shouldn't get upset with Wammers. He's just one of those gruff northerners we chat about at the RR wine tasting meets at the tennis club.

Somebody said he came from further North than Hitchin, so really out in the bundu.

I reckon it will sound a bit like an old tug boat. So if you like tug boats then go for it. I really think that only the V8 engines sound good with an aftermarket exhaust.

Quite like tug boats, so thats a definite plus there.... Although if you said cement mixer i'd be ripping their hand off for it
