It should not do that, it's most likely a height sensor giving a dodgy reading so it is going into a soft fault mode. You need to read the fault codes, download the free EAS software from www.rswsolutions.com, buy a cable from the mad hat man and if needed a USB to serial adaptor and read the fault code yourself, assuming you have a laptop. If no laptop, worth buying a cheapie on Ebay, could save you a fortune, that is unless your kicker gives you a fault code reading.

Not in mine it doesn't and it has never risen whilst manouvering, indeed it would be downright dangerous if it did so in my local multi story car park as the clearance to the roof is about an inchBut in the handbook it's says that when parking the EAS rises for a better view!

had trouble with my EAS(hard fault)!!.after putting mi problem out on the forum,a member from this forum(DUGGY,AKA=DOGS BODY),took time out to come round and plugged her up on the EASunlock program.she went up and stayed.since then i've got mi own leads an disc,pluged her up,she dropped and I'm now back where i started!!!!!...all i seem to be getting is PARAMETER IS INCORRECT!!!!!IS IT AS SIMPLE AS PLUG UP PRESS A BUTTON,AND ITS ALL GOOD??????...................HELP!!!!!!!!!
