Evening All,
My 1.8 . 02 freelander has a small problem (I hope)
On the propshaft there is a large metal ring which has come adrift and is spinning feeely when the shaft turns. Inside the ring are 4 metal plates and rubber parts, this should match up with the fixed part of the propshaft I thinks! Can this just be knocked back on, (maybe some Araldite to help) or is it more serious than I think?

deffo sounds like ya vcu's knackered, and I think you might be a bit beyond the tippex test too.

should all be one piece with a gel like substance safely contained inside
