I'm looking for some tree sliders for our Discovery 2. I've looked at past discussions on this topic but they seem to be quite old and a lot of the firms recommended aren't around any more. A search of the internet throws up lots of options and I'm not sure how you can tell the good from the bad - they all look much the same to me. TerraFirma, Bearmach and Britpart come up a lot, along with offerings from firms manufacturing their own. The ones from Dirt Monkey Offroad looked rather smart and had mini-steps built in. What is the current thinking as to what are the best option(s)?

In the end I went with the Wildbear ones from AJS for three reasons. The chap who was going to install them recommended them, AJS are only a few miles away so I could collect them and save the delivery cost, and I'd also used them before for my front and rear steel bumpers. They were very good value and I'm pleased with the result.

Those Wildbear ones look good. Mine are starting to rot away and I'm looking for a new set also.
BTW... got a link to AJS mate?
