Is this the right price for a disco of its age and milage? I know it's not a lot of miles for how old it is but have been told it is still priced too high

Also looks it good condition for price but does this mean it may have underlining problems? I shall obviously ask seller questions when I go see it but on first glance what do you reckon to it?
Will be used as a every day car and also occasionl green laning days.

Looks fairly clean,if everything else was ok and you could live with the walnut dash, i reckon you are looking at £1500.
Just make sure to look at all the normal bits and don't expect a perfect new looking car!.

If chassis is ok.have a poke at it with a screwdriver.make sure they havent wax oild over rust.

It does look very tidy but that can still hide a multitude of horrors, get under it and check chassis and cills, under the bonnet for inner wings and lift the boot carpet to inspect the floor, and the price is a little high aim for around £1200 - £1500

Take at look at the tyre pics, you notice the paint work bubbling on the left and paint missing to the right? Also other pic has rust on step. Are these just because car is nearly 20 years old!? I obviously don't expect car to look brand new but don't want body work to be corroding away!

To be honest mate if you are going to be bothered about a little bit of rust then don't bother going to look at it. Like you say its a 20 year old car and discos are renowned for it. A bit of surface rust is easily dealt with,a rotten boot pan not so easy but still not the end of the world as long as the price is right

Unless your the luckiest man alive it'll be rotten. or it'll have had **** loads of welding done. Make sure you find out which it is And it's a £1k car anymore and you're getting shafted..

It's running mis-matched tyres, budget ones at that. A sure sign they have kept the spending down. What else has been done on the cheap. Niggling apart, check that boot floor!

Not bothered about a bit of surface rust hoopfish I just don't want it to be a major problem that's going to end up been expensive!

Rust kills D1's, everything else can usually be cheaply and easily fixed. So check it thoroughly for rust, expect a little but it's MOT failure rot that you need to avoid.
If it's good, haggle by all means but be willing to pay the full asking price as Good D1's are becoming a bit rare now.
