I was hoping if someone here has one of these air bags(arnott 11 or 111) together with koni heavy truck shocks... the reason i ask is that my 2001 has the ones on from new and althoughthey are ok they can not have much life left.So i have read a few threads(2-3 years old)were putting gen 111s with konis makes the ride to hard, this i dont want to do as that is not what a range is all about. All i want is to make it better on cornering ie less body roll. The konis have helped but still not enough..I know that the set up of the gen111s works diff from the gen 11s stiffer on motorway and standard height, but its a lot to spend if they give to harsh a ride...so anyone got this set up or thoughts on this type of set up....

If it helps, I had all 4 air springs replaced with Gen II Arnotts earlier this year, ride quality was much improved, firmer but not to the point of being uncomfortable. I have since replaced all the bushes with Polybush yellow and replaced all shocks and front ball joints. The ride is now sure footed and responsive but not to the detriment of ride comfort. I for one recommend the Arnotts and if you can stretch to the Gen III's then go for it.

thank you for that, yes i was thinking of gen11 but i did read that gen111s gave a much stiffer ride on motorway and standard height settings, but in old threads people say gen111s with konis go over the top and that its to stiff.

I agree,
I could not stand the Koni ride quality with my GENIIIs. Way too stiff. Actually really unconfortable going over sharp short bumps. It would send a horrible shock through the car. Almost violent.
My compromise was to keep the Konis in the rear and put an oil filled shock in the front. I used doetsch oil filed in the front. Much better all around.
