Hi - I am thinking of going travelling and I am thinking that a Landy Long Wheel Base may be the best option - what is this worth?

I'd guess that the seller is quietly hoping for about £3000 or more.
Such is the crazy money for anything with a Defender badge commands at the mo.

Six grand for that and it probably needs a big rebuild having been to Cape Town (and back).
If it were me, I'd go for the ambulance and fit it out how I want it.

The advert for the defender ambulance says that its not done many miles, and looks well looked after.

Its down in Cornwall which is hell of a drive from London if its not great. I have been looking for a while and have not seen any quite like this one.

I reckon I could pick this up cheap, no one is going all the way to Cornwall for this, only the locals, and would not think it would have interested them.

what makes you say that ?

having recently priced up having a 1993 110 converted (properly) i'd say that's going to get a lot of attention

cornwall isnt that far away, but if your one of those Londoners who think they need to get their money changed for euros at Watford gap .........

Wrong - Ambulances are Tax Exempt aswell.
