Hi

As a Broker Adrian Flux don't have the facility to add a vehicle to the MID I'm afraid the Underwriter processes this. I would be more than happy to check what has happened for you. Please feel free to pm me your reference and contact number and I can get someone to call you today.

Thanks

While I appreciate that you'll look into any problems that people have, can I just ask why you don't appear to defend the company if someone slates it?

i guess im one of the lucky ones, i was inshured with flux with a heavily modified sports car a few years ago. they always give me the best quote, i brought my landy 3 weeks ago and no one would insure :( iv been driving 10yrs iv got full no claims bonus on commercial 1 years motor trade. and even with putting that the best i could get was £2500 id just about give up but rang flux who quoted just over £500

Because their bonus's are made up of "f**k ups" where they accidently keep someone's money but not actually insure them in anyway.

I did some insurance hunting a tweaked my career on the varous web sites and I tried changing it and they wouldn't have it!!

They have you by the fucing bollocks every time. Anyone can change jobs at any time durnig their policy and they can just use it as an excuse to either cancel your policy and hike upt he premium to something rediculous!

AF were quite reasonable with my Series. £114 all in and I got a discount from being on pistonheads :)

AF are usually pretty good on their when you are first looking at moving to them. After that I find they start piling on the pounds come renewel time. I ran out of time to sort out the insurance last year so had to go with them for another year after argueing to get the price down. They then stacked a stupid amount extra on in interest as I couldn't afford to pay it in one hit and had to do installments.

Hopefully I should have the money to pay my insurance off in full this time but unless flux want to start showing loyalty to their existing customer base and not keep trying to hike my insurance up by stupid amounts for no reason I'm happy to show them the same level of loyalty.

If they want to treat me like a mug I'm happy to take my money elsewhere.

My wife deals with insurance, and she said that when I had my camper insured with them they were a nightmare, little 50 pound charges for everything, apparently try cancelling or changing a policy to another vehicle, there is obviously a charge for possibly a different vehicle change ( always up in price never down) but its the admin 50 quid charge to go with it,got rid of em and good ridence I was told.
Admiral multicar apparently are the stars for us at the moment.

I'm with multi car, my series 3 and girlfriends Leon cupra,800 fully comp. I'm 33 with 5 years ncb and she is 30 with 0 ncb, she wrote EVO 1 off last year, and they seem to go out of way to help. If only all insurance company's were like them

Admiral multi for me too. £600 comprehensive cover and i'm 20 with 0 years NCB on the landy and main driver.

Agreed. My first year for my Saab was £600 and when it came to renewal time, they want nearly £900!!

Multi car policies can be a way to make things a bit cheaper. Mrs BakerStreet and I are now both insured by Direct Line.

what do you drive?

That's for a 2.5 petrol 90. My run-around is only £200 extra on the policy, too.

Where I live has an extremely low crime rate and the area is a quiet village in the countryside. I think that makes a pretty big difference.
