Despite not at all being a fan of A/F I had no choice from a cost point of view but to go with them for the disco insurance.
Insured ok, but, no documents in post, then a letter saying as i hadn't responded they might cancel my policy, so rung them, they'd apparently emailed them (i guess they'd ended in the spam box) so asked them to send me the documents, which they did.
Completed them all and returned them, then got a letter confirming that everything was perfect, I'm now insured and ignore any other letters saying anything else. Great.
Today i get a text message and an email saying they are going to cancel my insurance and to call them urgently.
Well... is it? I'd have thought any emails or texts would have only been sent if they were relevant, i can understand old letters accidently been sent, but, not emails or texts. So, do i go by the letter which says all is good, or the emails and text and be worried?!
Maybe this will only be a year long deal with A/F then off to find a better insurance company who send out non-confusing messages to customers.
