Quick question. During the strip down and rebuild a lonnnnng time ago, we disconnected the auto selector somewhere around the gearbox when we split the body from the chassis.

I am all sorted now and ready for MoT on Saturday. I am just fettling about to get everything back to how it should be. The issue I have is the selector does not "click into" place when selecting the gear needed. It is like everything has moved up one. You cannot select park for example as it is off the scale. Gear 1 is level with gear 2, etc....

Any ideas where this is adjusted because I sure well can't remember

look at end of slector cable where it joins box shaft on lhs its adjustable ,but first check clamp for cable on lhs box mount you need 13mm spanner and ensure cable fits in fully you may need to remove cable from box shaft first

Check XYZ switch located on top of box loads on it in search

Disco I auto box doesn't have an XYZ switch. It's a manually driven box not electronic.
