Looking at the wiring for adding cruise control to my V6 2004 Freelander auto.
There are connectors under the drivers seat for the ecu etc, there is also a lead in the engine compartment for the vacuum pump. I am assuming the connections for the steering mounted switch will be there. The only wire I cannot locate is for the main switch. On the facelift , the main switch was located on the dash near the door next to the reversing sensor switch. Under the drivers foot well carpet behind accelerator pedal I have found a large plug. I think this is the location for an additional wiring loom for the main Cruise and Reversing sensor switches. Can anyone shed any light on this.
