As above really what can be done to make the old 110 a bit more than an old farm truck? I was wondering if rangie seats will fit or if they are to big for the steering wheel.

What mods have you all done to bring the creature comforts into yours?

and for all the grumpy fookers on here I know i could have got a rangerover if i wanted comfort but i like my right elbow bruised and i already have a 110 :p

RR seats will be to fat, unless you is a midget,a friend put some Saab leathers seats and they fitted.Sound proofing is a start. you could change all your bush's for comfort poly bush ones though they aint cheap. thats 400 quid spent already.

If you still want to be able to get to the battery box easily then you have to stay with standard seats, unless rangie seats have a removable bottom? not sure if im honest
As far as creature comforts, have you got a centre cubby box? makes it loads comfier and the poly bushes are great, got em on my suspension on my defender 90, but mine are dynamic so are a bit stiffer :D

electric Urn
smaller steering wheel
Heated front seats
Rad muff to improve standard heater when static
Ceramic heater to help heating interior from cold and when static
partitioned off rear load space to aid heating, safety and security
2nd row high back seats
front and rear cubby boxes
additional interior strip lights
additional ciggy sockets
mud centre console
booster seat cushion for when the missus drives

I think that's it.

could always fit an anderson connector to allow the battery to be powered up without needing to get to it.

must be cold in your area :D

must be cold in your area :D

It is when yer using yer landy for work for 18-20 hours a day in the snow and ice during winter. Once you get cold it can be a bugger to get warm again without a little help.

Luckily I's is a bulky midget so hopefully my plan to fit RR seats into my series should be reet

Only 5'9"'s so hoping I shouldnt have too much of a problem getting in and out, width shouldnt be a problem plus the ones I got are electric so I can move them about and at £10.50 they were an absolute steal

Polybush kits I wouldn't say is comfortable I'd personally prefer good old metalistic genuine bushes all over than polybushes after fitting mine they were far too harsh but thats just my own opinion others will disagree but thats life

Fit a V8 ! quieter, plenty of heating available, seats dont have to be so comfortable as you are in them less time :p

He's right about the V8 heating up the cab, thought I was back in florida when I fired it up  me RR seats are heated too though so extra comfort :)

I have improved the sound proofing and fitted an electric Kenloe Rad fan. The engine now warms up quicker and you can feel some warmth coming through but I haven't tried it in very cold conditions. I have my eye on one of those 300w ceramic heaters if its still cold.
Can get down to -18c here.
I recently drove from the South of France to the UK and back, to be honest I found the standard seats quiet comfortable. What I would now like to do is sort out some of the draughts from around the doors. The rubber seals appear to be fine but I can see daylight between the door and the surround.

LOL

dont buy a 110 if you want comfort....... it adds to the basic appeal... LOL

ive put subaru impreza seats in my 110, uber comfy and offer more support when off roading. The fronts go in easily with the front seat mounts lining up perfectly with the original holes. the back mounts needed a bracket welding on to line up with the rear holes. The seats are higher than landy ones so you get the bonus of moor leg room without adding new seat rails. the rear seats were moor tricky and took a good dose of head scratching and several cups of tea. I've kept the original seat frames and cut them down and welded brackets on then to take the subaru seats. I am 6foot tall and can now sit in the back without smacking my knees on the front seats. Ive also got a rake of Mud stuff bits in there extra sound proofing and a heater out of a TD5 that works great. All in all a very nice place to be what ever the weather.
