Read a thread the other night regarding a link to stop ACE light coming on and for the love of god can I find it ???

All ace removed anti roll bars, links, pully etc all done thats the easy bolty on and off bits
The light can stay on but the ding ding ding for 5 mins will drive me daft

Could someone enlighten me how to stop it :)

The two most obvious ways are:

1. Use a diagnostic machine such as Hawkeye or Nanocom to tell the cars' systems that it no longer has ACE or,

2. Contact SieraFery as he is the Billy Wizz when it comes to D2 electronics and he knows a way of bridging wires which tells the car it's not on ACE, I think????

Yip that was the thread I was looking for using a paperclip I recall just cant find that thread again :(

I don't think you can tell the system that ACE isn't fitted, I've looked for that function on mine, but can only find the tests.

Pulling F15 in the engine bay fusebox stops the alarm, you also need to check that other stuff is out of circuit as well. I still have the ACE warning light coming up in orange/yellow.

If I pull F29 in the passenger compartment fusebox I lose the starter.

I pulled r14 in engine fusebox done the trick I can live with the light being yellow. Just hope it only does the ACE gubbins

The yellow light is an MOT failure now.
I have a Nanocom Evo and spend time between Glasgow and Argyll, if you are ever down either way, let me know and I'll turn the light off for you

this is what i was told by sf,
at ace ecu plug co647pin36 find brown/orange wire and give it a ignition live feed there is one in the same connector ,remove ace fuse an relay as well
