hey there,

my pipe from my pump to the block exploded and blew oil over the fan which kindly gave the entire engine bay and front chassis a covering hehe (nice and shiny). hacked the blown pipe to bits and bodged it back into the reservoir in a closed loop to keep the pump lubricated just to act as a pully. only problem till I replace the system is the red light on the dash and the constant beeping ;(. found out to be the sensor at the front of the valve block and just wondering if I bodged the 2 wires together would it sort it self out. even if it would get it back to amber just to get rid of the annoying beeping!!!!.

thanks

Matt

bridging that sensor won't help IMO, but it might help to remove the ACE relay(R14) and the fuse F15 both in engine bay fusebox...this might bring up the amber light only without constant beeping...if that doesnt help report back and i'll tell you the certain thing but that's a bit more complicated and you need RAVE for connector views

Removed fuses like you said and it changed from the red light and the beeping to an amber light. If you could let me know of the permanent way of fixing this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

what do you mean permannent?... dont you want to fix the leak and restore the system?... if you want to get rid of it you dont need my help
