Hi all, plugged my Foxwell in earlier & found this in the ABS 'read codes' not sure when it was logged & I've not had any amigos on so is this just an oddity? I cleared the DTC's then did an active test & all 4 passed.
What's the cure if this shows up again ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, usually if that code keeps coming back intermittently the problem is within the modulator, no way around it other than to replace the whole modulator with a known good one

Eek, as ever thanks for that. I'm at the Billing LR show this coming weekend so I'll keep an eye out for one. Are they all the same 1998- 2004 ?

Afaik they are... if you replace it make the "option B" wiring mod for SVS on it before fitting to have one potential issue eliminated

Older thread, I know, but nowhere have I seen anything mentioning if OptionB fixes the issue and the ABS etc still all works, or if it merely bypasses the fault so that you can pass the MOT (or WOF here in NZ) with out the warning lights on.

I have 3 Amigos on my 04 TD5 Disco II. I've already replaced the shuttle valve switches with new. Foxwell reports electrical fault in Shuttle Valve switch. Any one have the suggestions for the best way to fix?

means that you didnt search enough, everything will work as it should as only the faulty part is bypassed,

Answered both questions myself.
I realised reading the instructions properly that OptionB simply bypasses the connectors within the Shuttle Valve Block, which corrode over time.

My old SVS passed the electrical resistance tests, so I modified it for OptionB & fitted it to the car.
Cleared the faults with my Foxwell and then went out to stress test the system, aggressively using ABS & TC.
No 3 Amigo's. ABS & TC work perfectly.

Booked in for it's WOF (NZ version of MOT)
