Hi all

Can anyone tell me if the abs sensors that are used on the freelander are used anywhere else through the rover range cars etc

thanks

ABS sensors are very simple 'inductive pulse' pickups and I believe a trip to your local 'Wabco' truck parts supplier will produce a match at a fraction of dealer costs although you will have to splice in the LR harness connector plug.

Correct - the land rover and many others are made by Wabco.

Its not a bad job to do but if you're not too happy about joining wires etc then you can get a cheaper 3rd party sensor from ebay with the right plug!

If you splice in remember to waterproof....

See pics.....

Sorry i didn't keep the receipt! If I get a chance I'll have a look at the car later.

Any of the Wabco sensors will do the job though they are nearly all the same size. Do I take it you are in need of one?

got a rear subframe off a 99 FL here with sensors on it if you need them, also depends if i can get them out without buggering them
