anyone come across this problem ?
during normal braking everything appears to be working fine, if you happen to hit the brake pedal quickly the ABS light along with the handbrake and traction control light all illuminate for a few seconds, then go out.
no problems displayed on the message centre, but on testing to see if the ABS does work the wheels lock up to indicate that it is not working.
whereas these lights only illuminate if you hit the brake pedal quickly.
you would expect the message centre to tell you if there was an ABS problem, but it doesnt.

Ive had an identical problem, replaced the brake accumulator and no more flashing t/c, abs or h brake lights. A doddle to change and about £80 from Island 4x4.

Get the ABS system fault codes read.
just connected faultmate msv2 and read the faults
which came up with front left hand sensor air gap to large , so removed the sensor cleaned it refitted it still the same:doh:
just wondering if its worth changing the sensor i do have a few spare ones:confused:

i have exactly the same problem at the min so pls post up if you get it sorted will have to check to see if the abs is working or not

ok will do ,for now i think i will change the wheel sensor and see what happens. i think untill these lights stop flashing the abs will remain inoperative:doh:
each time i try somthing else i go back in with faultmate msv 2 and clear the fault before testing, will keep you posted:)

just changed the wheel sensor as the original kept coming up as a fault[ air gap to large or open circuit ] then retested with faultmate 3 times to be sure there was no fault each time came up no faults;)
however on road testing the 3 lights abs tc hb still breifly flash on, futhermore the abs tries to work you get a slight pulsating brake pedal also partial wheel lock up and skid:doh: any ideas:confused:
