i have a problem in as much as intermittantley the ABS light stays on when i pull off from cold start up...if i stop,switch off and start again and pull off it turns off as it should....any ideas guys....T.I.A

Do search on here for abs blink codes. There is a way of diagnosing the problem using a paper clip and counting blinks.
 
I agree get the diag done, I had the same problem and I had to replace a sensor on the front before it went away.

I wonder why LR did not put a Turn ABS off, its a complete nightmare system and with an Auto off road it make it real fun, grr.

To disconnect the abs for off-road work just pull the electrical connector feeding the abs pump.

Could be as simple as a sticking ABS warning relay, IIRC there's 4 involved with the whole system. The Haynes manual will tell u what and where they are.

Does the ABS lamp go through it's test sequence when the ign switch is first turned on?
