Ive been with the RAC for over 30 years... service has gone down hugely over that time. Left my missus stuck in an Ikea car park for 8 hours, because they wouldnt recover her, as she only taxed the car that day, and computer says not taxed. Useless recovery driver didnt even want to get out of the cab to look under the bonnet.
Had to escalate a complaint about the service and got three months free membership and a £50 cheque to say sorry. Read some of the Trustpilot reviews about all of the breakdown companies, they are pretty much the same shower of sh##e
