Guys, this is just a quick topic,we have breakdown repair cover with the AA, and basically it covers repairs up to £500 so my air suspension on the front right was leaking they attended and followed me to the garage who replaced the suspension and dust cover for £531

I get 5 claims a year it doesn't cover tyres, battery,or glass but everything else is covered

The car is once again driving great and I paid £60.
Gotta be worth £43 a year on top of my membership

My RS Escort had been covered for 5 years and we never used it, I've had Range for 6 weeks and already used it once!!!!!

Personally, from the garage point of view of that AA insurance, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
They contacted us to repair a head gasket, they wouldn't pay for new headbolts, belts, or waterpumps, so we flatly refuse their mechanical work, although we do ECU stuff for them.

I got £500 of the £800 for a new fuel pump for my chav box paid by mine and a few months later they also coughed up the full whack for 2 new injectors on it.

you just need to be able to prove that the vehicle has been properly maintained if you have certain faults.

They paid for a new fuel regulator one year and new clutch slave and master cylinders
for my disco. Cancelled it now though, as it went up a lot.

Yeah going up in premium is my worry, but I thought as we are 30 years AA members and have had this cover for 9yrs I may as well use it.

Anyway worth looking at with a 8 year old L322.

My garage have never had any work questioned from them as long as there is correct periodic services, which is important.

I suppose its like your boiler it never gives up until your skint and its cold, if you have no insurance or warranty you get cold and wash your socks in your lobster pot.
