i bought a P38 sub bass off fleabay, as the speakers in my '99/HSE sub were fk't, when i split it, found this attached to the speakers (see pics), A4054 is the part no,
removed it, fitted original amp off old sub, swopped wiring etc, now working,
can anyone actually ID this part.
Thanx...

hello wammers... yeah.. i know its an amp... is it a late one.. for the dash sub/2 extra tweeter HK system...
its not compatible with my 99 hse.. (full HK),

Not too clued up on the various systems, there are several fitted. You are best looking them up in RAVE and sussing out which one you have. Some have door amps some don't and some use a DSP amp.

i think its a DSP, you never know if an owner needs it, if i know exactly what amp it is, then i can offer it, if a post comes up,
otherwise, its junk i don't need.. enjoy yer day..

There are people on here clued up with the radios wait a bit and you may get better info. Looks like the amp from the sub woofer box in my car and that is not DSP. DSP is a self contained black box as far as i am aware.

Its the subwoofer amplifier from the later 'Premium' (DSP) sound systems. It's not part of the DSP amplifier itself, but rather the amp for the subwoofer, and it actually fits inside the big black box and bolts to the back of the woofer speakers.

If you don't want it, I might be interested in buying it off you - my one was dead when I bought the RR, so I replaced it with the smaller black box version from the earlier subwoofers, but wouldn't mind getting it back to how it should be. Drop me a message if you want rid of it!
