Very useful info indeed, GD;) I certainly wasn't aware of that bit of info.

the only time you will not get any sort of deal,is when the new reg comes out because the world and his dog want their new cars then.;)
if that salesman or garage wont do a deal you are happy with, tell them you will try their competitor.they dont want them to get your business so they will normally cave in at that.

Well I haven't ordered one today and I'm now awaiting a couple of other quotes, so once more, thanks for the advice folks and I'll keep you posted.

Look at it like this, if you order now you'll get a basic 110 , if you wait you might get a step up the ladder to the next model for the same price

They want as much of your money as they can get , you want the best vehicle possible for that money

true.when i bought a new car awhile back,i got the bigger engine, money off the price plus a load of extras.:D

I like the idea of a better model, and I'm going to try to be patient, but what would be a step up when you're essentially buying a van to use for work? A Station Wagon is no use to me.

If it's a factory order its what you can get them to add for nothing, A/C, better seats

The exmoor matting system is well worth the money if that's available

Well despite my best intentions, I'm afraid I gave in last Saturday and ordered my new 110 van. I got a jolly good deal from my local family owned dealer (£1990 off the total, with trailered delivery to my door after I've checked it over at their site and, the clincher, a free die cast model of one!) and I should get it on the 1st of March.

Photos will appear here shortly afterwards.

Thanks for all the help and advice. Sorry I couldn't wait any longer but that's just me I'm afraid.

ha ha,well as long as YOU are happy with the deal, then all is good.your money your choice.new reg plate as well.:D:D

I am annoyed that I will never have the opportunity to buy a brand new Defender (not because of finance, because they stop making soon of course :( )

After waiting for three months, this afternoon i was able to go to check over my new 110 van at the dealer's showroom. Everything seems spot on with it, no oil leaks, all panel gaps okay, all doors and bonnet shut, no dents or scratches, body cappings fitted well too.

Delivery is due next week, but here's a sneak preview

Excited isn't the word!

Looks very good, just check the clearance between the alternator and turbo boost hose. Our work landy has just chafed through after 200miles!!!!

Hope you Enjoy it
