i'm struggling to understand why all these stories of women struggling to see or reach the peddles, I'm hardly a giant of a woman but I manage with ease.

The only difficulty I sometimes have is getting into the beast wearing heels ,as I have no steps and reaching across into the engine bay without standing on a step

How am I supposed to know how the female mind works:confused::eek::D

my missus isn't insured on my disco so she's safe for now but once she passes her test she will probably have access to both my modified cavalier and my truck but I bet she will still want me to fix my astra so she can drive that.
notice they are all mine :D yet still she wants to drive them lol

My wife prefers to drive my defender , my kids also prefer to be rive around in it as it's more fun.

Ive found the fender easier to park than rounded euro boxes, at least with a fender you can see all 4 corners, and you know what you cant see doesnt exist with it being nice and square,

My wife doesn't like driving our classic Rangie because she finds it a problem to keep in a straight line on the open road (like Clarkson).

But she had a good test drive in a TD5 Defender and quite liked it.

One thing that can be said is that a lot of women like this kind of vehicle because they don't feel bullied by white van man etc.

The only thing that bothers my wife about our 110 is the climbing in and out bit. The actual driving she enjoys. Not the easiest to parallel park in a city is her only grumble but she takes the train for that
