hi folks just can anyone help with the following?

Bought a lwb station wagon recently (a proper hybrid/ all sorts of bits) with a isuzu 4jb1 Diesel engine fitted. Runs lovely. Is it quite common to put these engines in land rovers?

The second row doors are one piece. Were they all like that or were some like the fronts, tops and bottoms?

Any way they are proper knackered, rusted to very little. does anyone know of any decent second hand doors for sale? Or some decent breakers to keep an eye out for?

Cheers

I'm not aware of how many are in Series, but the Isuzu seems like a sensible engine, 2.7ltr and 87 hp.is a good match. How well is the conversion done? It could be out of a Trooper, is it mated to the Series box?
One piece doors are probably 90/Defender not series, you want the 2 piece doors.

It seems to have been done well, but I’m not entirely sure how I can be sure of that . It drives fine its very powerful well that is in comparison to a 2.25 petrol that I’m personally used to. Its mated to the series box.
The doors on the second row are one purse but with the lift up old style handles and sliding glass. To be honest I just want to soured somedecent doors to make it winter proof.
All the channels need doing to you see.
Would defender second row doors fit to then?

The window Chanel also needs doing on the rear most windows. Is this the same channel as in the doors or something completely different?

Have come across one piece series doors before,I think they were mainly fitted on export models.

My channels rotted out years ago, just some moss now. I think it helps mine breath. The genuine second row doors are rare, good luck in finding some. If you manage it come back here and tell us where you found them.
