CoupeUK - What are US spec cupholders??

They are cool, I have set, they go on the centre consol bit next to you gear stick - great for storage too :D They are for the D2, but fit fine in the 300. I got mine from the dealers, and cos its over 10 years old, you also get a discount ;)

here's a library pic showing them...

They can take bigger cups than the crappy things that pop out of the dash, as you can take out the inner part to hold a 2 litre bottle :D American style.....

providing you don't go round any sharp bends at speed :D

They are similar to those found in the D3, so i was glad when I found them, as I liked those in my D3, great for putting your phone in etc....

US spec cupholders are more versatile than the standard flimsy efforts in the dash, plus theyre handy for storing all kinds of other crap in that would otherwise fall out....change, mobile phones etc. Theyre a standard part so came in a LR box...bought mine from British Part UK in Stevenage, they come in grey or beige and are normally in stock on the shelf.

In regards to the turbo, theres very little lag, it made my other standard 300TDi look like it was going backwards! For a dirty diesel Disco it absolutely flies, shocked a few boyracers lol

very nice looking car!! did u do any body work like rust ??? mine is disco 1 I have rust on rear wheel arches and some on side rear boot floor and boot door pillar unbelieveble!! I replaced the sills and main boot floor but rusts is eating my car faster then I can repair!! hehe

This one aint too bad, my last one (in pics too) cost me a grand to have welded up in the end but that was hving the boot floor done, new sills, patches to door pillar bottoms, inner arches replaced and new battery tray.

This ones brilliant in comparison, its been coated in waxoyl and shulz underneath and in any common rust spots but I reckon it will need welding up....planning on rock/tree sliders next year so will get sills done as a matter of course anyways, prob get boot floor done too at same time while its off the road.

But no, this ones good and is still on its original panels as far as I can tell, its had no paintwork either just liberal amounts of cleaning and polish! It doesnt get off roaded much to be honest but I always make sure I give the arches a good blast when I jetwash it, going to pull the arches off anyway soon to check what craps behind them, clean and refit :D

Hi coupe, nice motor mate, looks mean. Anyways, have you got blacked rear lights? If so where from. Also have you noticed any difference putting a k&n on? I have a snorkel, de-cat, de-egr etc.. But every bit helps n all that

Hi!

Not touched the rear lights, I will tint them with some Lamin-X at somepoint to tone down the colour slightly....what you can see is probably soot lol

When fitting the K&N I didnt notice major differences, it seems to sound more noisy but it might be my imagination....tbh it must breathe better with panel filter fitted so its all good in my book and one less thing to buy come service time!
