do it via the insurance, dont forget to add it was a heated screen, green tint

£50 and new heated, tinted screen fitted while you enjoy a cold beer ..... job done.

Would be no point as its cheaper to buy a screen than pay any excess.
Doesn't need changing again, chip is only noticeable if you look with a detailed eye, or with my reading glasses in my case.
