Just thought I would let you all know I need to find somewhere or some body that can rebuild my truck!! I am not winning when it comes to my truck, i have gone a chassis to far and I have lost. Does anyone know of a place or person that would put my truck back on the road for me please. I’m not after my truck to look like it has come off the production line I just want it back on the road and no more, haha nearly forgot to ask does anyone know how much money roughly i will need?

Pics would help, and maybe an idea of what you are after?

Ie a total strip and rebuild or lift the body, swap the engine, gearbox, axels etc onto the new chassis using as far as possible, everything from the old chassis.

At a guess, a galv chassis is £3k and probably similar to do the job (at a professional garage/workshop with some form of guarantee as opposed to it being done by an enthusiast on their driveway)

What situation are you in exactly?
Have you started it and got stuck?
Have you got a chassis?
Have you decided you can't do it before you started it?

I have started I have removed front wings, front panel and radiator, bonnet, seat box, rear cab and roof, truck bed and sides. Not got chassis yet but I have looked into Maer about getting one from them.

A quick google found another company, they manufacture series chassis (if you've got £3k handy) and offer a fitting service clearly at extra cost.

I read elsewhere on here that a D3 chassis replacement would be over £10k, different kettle of fish maybe- but anyway deep pockets might be needed if you can't do it yourself...

I didn’t realise that there is so many different places that do Land Rover series chassis swap. I thought I would be struggling to find somewhere to get my truck done. All I got to do is find someone near me as the truck is all in bits.
