I am new to this forum and hoping I can pick the brains of someone here about my landy. My 90 has developed a really bad vibration when going above 30mph, whether in low (not very often) or in high the transmission winds itself up, and have to raise the wheels to unwind, the transfer box has plenty fluid, the prop uj's have been done. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with her?

Sounds like your centre diff lock is engaged.

Are you trying to use 4 h and l on hard surfaces ?

Appologies if im telling you to suck eggs but its nearly winter and your first post , its about time for the influx of how does my 4x4 not work.

90 goes in and out of low and high with no problems as this landy gets a fair bit of use in and out of fields etc.

The only time she's is in low is when in a field, I don't use low on Tarmac.

The vibration happens when in high on the main road,

A Trewey said, check it ain't in difflock, that's usually the cause for transmission wind up.

Yep but is the small lever pushed to the left or too the right ?

It is to the right.
