Greetings, Just found a nice landy Td5 for sale in my local area but it is pick up! not that there is any thing wrong with that but i would prefer a hardtop to store tools and equipment and hostages!!!. Just wondering its looks like a good project for the future but would converting a Pick up to a hard top be too much trouble or is it even possible has anybody tried this??

By all accounts an easy job, there are a couple of roofs+sides on e-bay at the moment

An easy job and one which has been carried out more times than I would care to think about.
Although you can buy the parts separately it might be a nice idea if you can do a deal with someone who wants to go the other way (this is what I did a few years ago). Apart from the main items (hardtop & sides, rear door etc) there are all sorts of small items which you will have to pick up either new or s/h. Off the top of my head I can think of the following:- rear door stay, catch, rear wiper switch, heated window switch, various nuts, bolts & seals etc.

Folks, thank you for your help, looks like somebody in my area is about to sell there landy pick up, Yipee!!
