hi guys thanks for all helping me out with the storage, been out looking at what i have etc, what i forgot was the storage under the drivers seat, does anyone here no what 90 fuel tank i need, to put under there and how you would go about fitting it. im looking at making that my next project, (after the engine and cupboards)

thank again guys

Just fitted one today - need a bracket that bolts on the chassis at the front which connects to the tank at a single point, using a bolt and a couple of rubber bushes. The rear of the tank (on a 90) fits to the tubular crossmember. Again, I used a couple of rubber bushes to seperate the tank from the chassis, with bolts running through (in this case I cut a shock-absorber polybush cut in half to make 2!)

Took about 5 minutes, but then I've got a bare chassis... Otherwise it can be a tight squeeze getting it past the sill.

Just remembered you've got a 110. still the bits are available as a mate has two tanks on his 110, the standard rear and a 90 under the seat. I'll check the parts manual later or tomorrow..

fitting it is easy , filling ip up will pose a problem.
you could cap it off and fill it from under the seat.
one thing to keep in mind , its a 12 gallon tank , 40 odd litres.
if you top it up with contaminated diesel (a lot of dodgy diesel in africa apparently) you have lost 12 gallons.
most people use gerry cans to stop cross contamination if bad diesel is bought.
perhaps fitting a locker box down there for gerry cans might be a better idea?

hi guys

i think nobber you have hit it right on the head, i never thought about the contamination side, i think the good old trusty universal landrover tool might be coming out soon lol (a grinder if your not sure what i ment)

im definatly getting some side lockers, ive had a very nice quote (if you can call it that) of £140 per side locker, fitting them your self, so thats not to bad.

thanks again guys i would be really stuck with out your knowlage
