Ahhh...I assumed the spotlights on the A bar was the 'after' pic.
I'm guessing the upside down tow ball was deliberate by someone else? Still useable as a recovery point AND a flat ish area to stand on whilst adjusting the tappets and what not.:)

Tow ball was upside down so as it was the right height to shunt caravan or trailer, turn hitch upside down and clip it on ball. Only used it to shunt neighbours caravan as it was a very tight fit through his gateway.
Trying to make it look good for sale, doing doors next, military type windows or ordinary sliders ??

which is before and after? presumably the blue is before..... please say it is....

Blue is before:)
I must admit she does look a lot better,
Now then, military slider windows or ordinary ones, roof rack on or off to maximise sale value ?

roof rack off, then when a seller comes along you can use it to bargain with for more.
I like military slider windows persoanlly :)

Military sliding windows are loads better than ‘normal’ ones.
IMO the rack needs to come off, and as Flat suggested can be used as a negotiating point when selling.
The roof needs to be blue or black, the snorkel needs to be black and the additional mirrors on the wings need to disappear. I like the blue but feel it needs some black on there to break it up. Not everyone’s taste (I like em tho) but maybe some black wing top protectors.
Black wheels would probably also look good.....

Some more pics from around the vehicle would help.
Good work so far!

Got black wolf wheels and now black snorkel, door mirrors gone as they weren't defender ones, originals from its military beginnings, might put defender mirrors on and bin the wing mirrors as suggested.
Can't really afford wing top protectors, could do with standard bonnet without spare wheel bits and bobs on it as well,.

I didn't think the chequer plate was that cheap, used to be dearer, anyway it wont fit my bonnet due to the posts etc for spare wheel, mine is also stronger as it has bracing pieces. Think I'll leave bonnet because next owner can decide what they want and it's in good condition.
I'll spend the money on gear lever conversion and put stick in fender position, then tidy up the dash, it's got new seats so that's a start. :)

Fender mirrors ..... my cup runeth over as they say
Looking more like a proper land rover

Exterior almost done, wondering about roof colour though.
