I have just bought a new chassis for my 90 as when i started to remove body parts it was more evident that i needed more than just a rear X member..
I bought it from a guy about 6 months ago, he had welded on one side then decided to replace his chassis so cut it off again (cut his chassis not the cross member.. )
So as it stands the cross member has the notmal tabs on one side and the tabs the otherside are welded to a piece of chassis, will be very easy to grind off, I can even do it if required..
Will end up being a perfectly normal replacement to your X member..
Ill take a pic tonight and get it up here tomorrow..
