Hi, this might be answered somewhere but can’t find it. I have doors from a 90/110 that I’m fitting to my series 3. Does anyone know which striker I need for the catch I have? Photo attached. Thanks in advance

First of all you are doing that the wrong way round. You should be fitting the superior series split door to defender not the other way around.
And secondly although @Hicap phill is usually a trustworthy character do you not just need the standard striker plate FQB500130?

Don’t forget if you use the above striker a spacer will be needed. You can also get shims.

Pros & cons …
90 doors have wind up full windows
90 split door have slide windows but are very simple.

I stand corrected. There are many, the one I linked must be the superseded version. As that what I was directed to when I looked up the old part in my manual.

90/110 split doors are what every Land Rover aspires to. The correct sliding windows but the benefit of an Ali frame that doesn’t rust away, combined with a continuation of the galvanised tub capping.
Nobody needs fancy modern windows that go up and down!

Thanks - cost is a major factor for using these doors for now. The doors are lift up handle type and have the galvanised piece on them so just the window looks wrong...
