The EGR was full of gunk looled like tar and was caked all over the egr i dont think it has been taken off ever. The gunk was at least 2mm thick anyway i cleaned off all the gunk.amd carbon using coca-cola and lettin the EGR soak for a hour or two then i.carried on cleaning it down until it looked newish, refitted it and took landy for a spin got 90mph out of it no more struggaling at 70 and loosing power.....
Sometimes the basics get overlooked.

Should have fitted an EGR bypass after taking off the original EGR so that the gunk doesn't build up again

Not propperly it was just a quick clean from what i could reach i didnt take it apart, gonna do it all.correctly when i get in work as they have all tools and cleaning equipment etc so hopefully it will be even more better today was just a quick clean of tjeEGR to see if i could get the boost back.to her wich luckly i did
