Just seen this on eBay, description mentions "only a few made" or something to that effect.

I know Land Rover Special Vehicles did some wonderful things, but I didn't think adding another axle and making it into a pickup would be something they did?

Would it of left the factory like this?
 
I'd be more inclined to think it was a hybrid of 2 Rangies,

If so, excellent welding and grinding on the rear panels

Uh huh... So how does it start run and drive if there aren't any carburettors attached to the inlet manifold? :confused:

That is unless that picture was taken before the engine had been replaced because of an 'oil leak'.

I saw one something like that many years ago in Ireland. They were using it as a camera car on the making of Braveheart....
