was going to break it but if im honest its just too good to break and i dont have the time was going to use it for a bit while i finish my 90 but its just not going to happen

hopefully it can get the little love it needs and can stay on the road, but my heart is with my 90 ( now a 300tdi auto-and im loving it)

I've had a couple of 50th Anniversary Discoveries.
Each one had the 50th badge on the front wings below the side indicator and also were full leather inside.
First time I've seen one with a different interior and no badges.

Beat me to it bigeeee. I had one and was exactly as you said,
I'm not doubting it mate but what identifies it as a 50th.
Cheers

Roof bars, front fog light lights and stainless tread plates were also part of the 50th disco's kit and the wheels shown are not "Boost", which should have been fitted and have a wider and deeper spoke, the ones shown are Deep dish.
As it looks green that is a no no as the came only in blue, or the option white gold.

I was a the main dealer at the time having a look at one while waiting to collect my disco after its service. :D

My car check app shows it as being an XS model if that makes any difference to it being a 50th anniversary model?

Well it certainly has the XS wheels and two tone cloth and leather seat fabric also the XS wheels, but XS disco's the roof bars as far as I remember, plus the XS decoration on the lower part of the door.
There was a few more limited editions from late 1997 through 1998 till the D2 was in the showrooms so may be one of them, maybe maybe not.

The 'Blue' can look green under certain light, as it was a 'flip' paint, Atlantis Blue, code 632, I think ...

Now sold to a lovely lady and will be used to take her daughter to horse shows towing a lovely horse

Hope the new owner well and hope this Landy stays on the road for many years to come
