They'll flee the country while on bail. That's what happened to the ones that nicked our 90 a few years ago (chased and caught after activation of tracking device)
At least we got the Land Rover back undamaged.

this is quite a revival.....im sure lots has happened in the past year and a bit....and probably didnt involve them doing time, being shot or fined.
6 months suspended would be my guess.

6 months on the end of a rope would be far better
