there was two plugs unplugged one seems to be the reverse light and the other is the 4x4 mode light.
im not sure what you mean about mechanical or electrical selection its a gear knob that you pull down. regards

i've got a 2007 santana ps 10

you is the ****er........... It may look like a defender but it is not. So this site will not help you. As what is wrong or where to get parts, well you bought a bog and now have to live with it There is a breaker that specializes in santana just do a search. His site says there is a very limited supply of parts and getting service and parts to repair is like finding hens teeth.
