re Pulled a few cars out of ditches & up hills over the last couple of weeks. With exception of 1 smart car the rest were VW's. Not sure if this was coincidence or if VW just make a rather slippery car.
the audi vw later traction control as on my company a4 is pathetic, even when switched off as soon as it senses trouble it kills power until it stalls, usually uphill, leaving the car dead,an electric handbrake to boot, that can only be operated by pressing the footbrake, and a stupid key that needs pushing in, and a slight delay while it thinks about starting with the clutch pressed in, im a leg short to do this at the same time, so sadly went down the same hill backwards, as a hapless passenger, even my father in law doubted what was happening till it did the same to him.
so we bought another p38 end of problem (seems a good excuse anyway)
