Hi,

Just got back from a weeks holiday in Somerset, on the trip down from the Wirral just off the M5 the dreaded beep happed and EAS Fault was shown. I carried on driving as it had gone to its highest position. Once i arrived, unpacked the car and settled in i went out to the pub and everything was ok. It stayed this way until the way home where it did exactly the same and is now ok after leaving it for 30 mins. The only thing i can link it to is constant driving for 4 hours.

Any suggestions would be great .......:D

Cheers
Phil

..i have had same thing, except, it was happening immediately upon engine start, then it locks itself on to highest position all the way..it turn to be a one of height sensors, so i changed it all..and it all worked fine ever since..

Most likely a dodgy height sensor. You were running loaded so there was probaly a bit more suspension movement than usual taking the sensors onto normaly unused bits of their track. It would be a good idea to check and see if any faults are logged before it goes to a hard fault:)

Sonds good to me, what is the cost?

cheers
Phil

A 3 Mtr EAS cable and a CD with the EAS software, my Airbag Replacement guide and a copy of RAVE is £11 plus £3.91 P&P if you pay by cheque, add £2 if you want to use Paypal:)
PM me if you want more details.
